Article Processing Charges

Revised Publication Charge (Effective for articles submitted beginning January 1, 2027)

• Article processing charges (APCs) are assessed on a per-manuscript basis. Authors are required to pay KRW 600,000 for Korean-language manuscripts and KRW 300,000 for English-language manuscripts. For manuscripts submitted by authors outside Korea, the APC is USD 300.
• For Fast-track manuscripts, an additional expedited review fee of KRW 300,000 is charged for Korean-language and English-language manuscripts. For Fast-track manuscripts submitted by authors outside Korea, an additional expedited review fee of USD 300 is charged.
• Only invited English-language review articles are exempt from all article processing charges.
• These fees apply to manuscripts submitted on or after January 1, 2027.

Publication Charge (Effective up to articles submitted on December 31, 2026)

• A page charge is levied on all original research manuscripts. The publication charge is 50,000 Korean Won (USD 50.00) per page for regular submissions, while fast-track submissions will incur double the standard publication charge. The publication charge is waived for invited reviews and research articles in English, but for manuscripts submitted as fast-track, a publication charge of 50,000 Korean Won (USD 50.00) per page applies. The charges per printed page will be communicated to the corresponding author along with the manuscript for galley proofs.
• FSP does not charge any review fees for submitted manuscripts, regardless of whether they are processed under the regular track or fast-track. Additionally, no submission or review fees are incurred even if the manuscript is rejected.
• If significant errors are discovered after publication, the editorial team should be notified so that the errata can be published. In case of errors due to the author's mistake, the cost of publishing the errata shall be borne by the author at 50,000 won (USD 50.00) per page.
